Social Media Marketing for beauty brands: Terme di Sirmione Cosmetics Institute

Overview

The challenge

Terme di Sirmione Cosmetics Institute had an established social media presence, but it was not performing as an effective marketing and conversion channel.

The content lacked quality and format diversification, resulting in a social presence that struggled to engage the target audience and generate meaningful interactions. Paid advertising also lacked a consistent creative approach and high-quality assets, limiting its effectiveness.

At the same time, Instagram was not structured to support product discovery and conversion, with limited integration between content, products and e-commerce.

The challenge was to transform this underperforming presence into a high-quality, engaging and conversion-oriented social media ecosystem, where organic content, product discovery and paid advertising worked together to support the customer journey.

Thce project

Neticon developed a new social media ecosystem for Terme di Sirmione Cosmetics Institute, combining social media strategy, content creation, social commerce and paid media.

The objective was to strengthen the skincare brand’s digital positioning, increase qualified website traffic and transform social media into an effective product discovery and conversion channel.

What we did

Step 1
Audit & Insights
We started with a complete Instagram and Facebook audit, analysing the target audience, follower base and growth, engagement, reach, interactions, link clicks, conversions and top-performing content.

The audit gave us a clear starting point and identified the key opportunities to shape the new strategy.
Step 2
Strategy & Visual Identity
Based on these insights, we developed a new social media strategy and visual identity, aligned with the brand’s business objectives.

‍
We introduced new content pillars around skincare education, thermal ingredients, product benefits and brand storytelling, while diversifying formats and creating a more distinctive and consistent Instagram and Facebook presence.
Step 3
Content & Production
We translated the strategy into monthly editorial plans across posts, carousels, Reels and Stories.

Each piece of content was designed to combine skincare expertise with strong visual communication - making complex or product-focused information easy to understand without compromising the brand’s aesthetic. Reels combined original production with AI-assisted creative content.
Step 4
Social Commerce & Paid Media
We connected organic content, social commerce and paid media into one integrated ecosystem.‍

‍Instagram product tagging shortened the path from content to e-commerce, allowing users to discover featured products directly from posts and reach the corresponding product pages.

Together with the Paid Media team, we selected organic content for promotion and developed dedicated Meta advertising banners and creatives.

The result was one coordinated mechanism where content strategy, product discovery, paid distribution and conversion objectives worked together across the customer journey.
